NADRA Job Opportunity: Deputy Assistant Director (Tech) in Gilgit Baltistan

The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), under the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, is seeking highly skilled professionals for the position of Deputy Assistant Director (Tech) in Gilgit Baltistan.

This contractual role, with an initial term of 5 years (extendable if required), is perfect for individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or Software Engineering. Candidates with 2 years of post-qualification experience in communication and networks are preferred.

Vacancies Name and Qualification:

• Position: Deputy Assistant Director (Tech)
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s (4 Years) in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent (16 years of HEC-verified education). Degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Experience:

• Professional Experience: Preferably 2 years of post-qualification experience in communication and networks.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Administering server/client machines.
  • Installing and maintaining computer equipment, network (client & server) software, and hardware across various platforms.
  • Network optimization and operation of assigned network elements.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
  • Technical understanding of network elements, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Switches, and Communication media.
  • Knowledge of IP Subnetting, CIDR, NMS Monitoring, and Reporting.
  • Ability to provide 24/7 technical support for timely resolution of IT-related issues.
  • Network-related certifications are preferred.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (5 years relaxation already included).
• Other Criteria:
  • Candidates must provide attested degrees from HEC or relevant regulatory bodies at the time of the interview.
  • Employees serving in Government or Semi-Government departments must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) with their application.
  • Selected candidates must provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
