CDA Job Opportunities: Director-Level Positions in Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad, invites online applications for senior-level positions, including Director General (Islamabad Water) and Directors in Admin/HR/Law, Planning & Development (P&D), Civil, and Finance & Revenue.

Vacancies Name and Qualification:

1. Director General (Islamabad Water), PPS-10 (1 Post)
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (1st class) in Civil Engineering recognized by PEC and Master’s degree (1st class) preferably in Urban Water Utility Management, Sanitary, Public Health Engineering (PHE), or Environment Engineering. Registration with PEC is mandatory.
   • Preference: Higher degree in the relevant field and experience in urban water utility management/sanitary/PHE/environment engineering.
2. Director (Admin/HR/Law), PPS-9 (1 Post)
   • Qualification: Master’s degree (1st class) preferably in Public/Business Administration or Administrative Sciences. Possession of LLB/LLM is an added advantage.
   • Preference: Higher degree in the relevant field and experience in water utility management.
3. Director (Planning & Development), PPS-9 (1 Post)
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (1st class) in Civil Engineering recognized by PEC and Master’s degree (1st class) preferably in Urban Water Utility Management, Sanitary, PHE, or Environment Engineering. Registration with PEC is mandatory.
   • Preference: Higher degree in the relevant field and experience in urban water utility management/sanitary/PHE/environment engineering.
4. Director (Civil), PPS-9 (1 Post)
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (1st class) in Civil, Mechanical, or Environment Engineering recognized by PEC and Master’s degree (1st class) preferably in Water Management, Sanitary, PHE, or Environment Engineering. Registration with PEC is mandatory.
   • Preference: Higher degree in the relevant field.
5. Director (Finance & Revenue), PPS-9 (1 Post)
   • Qualification: Chartered Accountancy (CA), ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent, or Master’s degree (1st class) in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent from a recognized institute.
   • Preference: Higher degree in the relevant field.

Experience:

1. Director General (Islamabad Water):
   • 17 years’ experience in a managerial position in the relevant field, preferably in urban water utility management, sanitary, PHE, or environment engineering in a reputed public or private sector organization.
2. Director (Admin/HR/Law):
   • 12 years’ experience in a managerial position equivalent to BPS-17 or above in a reputed public or private sector organization, preferably in water utility management.
3. Director (Planning & Development):
   • 12 years’ experience in both field and managerial positions in the relevant field, equivalent to BPS-17 or above, in a reputed public or private sector organization, preferably in urban water utility management, sanitary, PHE, or environment engineering.
4. Director (Civil):
   • 12 years’ experience in both field and managerial positions in the relevant field, equivalent to BPS-17 or above, in a reputed public or private sector organization, preferably in water management, sanitary, PHE, or environment engineering.
5. Director (Finance & Revenue):
   • 7 years’ experience for CA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent, or 12 years’ experience for Master’s degree holders, in a responsible position in a government or reputed public/private sector organization.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit:
  • Director General (Islamabad Water): Up to 50 years (including 5 years general relaxation).
  • Director (Admin/HR/Law, P&D, Civil, Finance & Revenue): Up to 45 years (including 5 years general relaxation).
• Other Conditions:
  • Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory for engineering-related posts (Director General, Director P&D, Director Civil).
  • Candidates must submit scanned attested copies of educational documents, experience certificates, recent photograph, CNIC, and domicile with the online application.
  • Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
  • Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications and pay the Rs. 2000/- fee for each post.
  • Only short cannula listed candidates who meet the criteria will be called for written test/interview.
