PPSC Jobs 2025 – Assistant Professors & 3599 Charge Nurse Vacancies

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced multiple BS-18 contract-based vacancies for Assistant Professors in various medical specialties, including Paediatric Surgery, Physiology, Haematology, Medical Education, Pathology Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Cardiology, Plastic Surgery, Pharmacology, Dermatology, Oncology, Pulmonology, Paediatrics Medicine, Pathology Histopathology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Community Medicine, Biochemistry, Psychiatry, and Chemical Pathology.

These positions are open to male, female, and transgender candidates, with a maximum age limit of 50 years for males and 53 years for females (including age relaxation). Eligibility requires an MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PMC/PMDC, relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., FCPS, MD, MS), and at least three years of postgraduate practical or teaching experience.

Additionally, PPSC has announced 3,599 seats for Charge Nurse (BS-16) female candidates across Punjab, with educational requirements including a BSc Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery with valid PNC registration.

Applications must be submitted online by July 18, 2025, with all degrees HEC-verified and foreign qualifications having equivalency certificates. Written and skill tests will be conducted in Lahore, and government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate at the interview stage.

General Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professors:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification from PMC/PMDC recognized institute
• Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., FCPS, MD, MS, MPhil, PhD, Diplomat American Board)
• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate practical or teaching experience (where applicable)
• Valid PMC registration with recognized postgraduate qualification
• Maximum Age:
  • Male: 50 years
  • Female: 53 years (including relaxation)
  • Transgender: As per CNIC
